Bohlen-Pierce Scale Symposium, Boston 2010: Performances and LecturesThere has been enough interest lately in the Bohlen-Pierce Scale lately that an entire symposium was organized in Boston. It included the support of three major music educational institutions - Berklee College of Music, the Goethe Institute and New England Conservatory. Heinz Bohlen and Max Mathews skyped in at various times. I built 2 keyboards for my performance in addition to rearranging the keys on the AXIS for Dr Boulanger.
Number Sine: Lights Out Landing (2007)“Mars meets Venus. A boy meets a girl. A comet from space crashed into a lonely guitar.” Number Sine was the collaboration of Jason Hardy [vox/guitar/songwriting] and Elaine Walker [vox/synths/beats/production]. Luke Hill provided live drum performances. Number Sine was signed to Mirage Records (a branch of Red Truck Entertainment) for a brief period of time in 2007 and played seven gigs, when it suddenly came to an end. See: myspace.com/numbersine.
Electronic Music Geekdom 19 Videos | Play AllThis playist includes instructional videos, presentations, documenting things such as building or modifying ZIA gear, and the Electronic Music Ensemble Club at SCC. My main interests are in alternate tunings, alternate MIDI controllers, and fractal-generated chaos music - taking these elements and shaping them into a form of a pop song or... not.
